FIRST and foremost, I like to announce to everyone reading my blog, that is...................................... My family just got bigger! As some of you all may have heard about or seen my auntie pregnant, she just gave birth yesterday (03/07/2007)! and they are twin brothers! haha =DDD Yay! I got 2 more younger brothers! haha

Last but not least..back to my posts! haha..hm..had my haircut last Thursday, 28/07/2007. It only cost 20RMB (4SGD) for cut, wash and style. I didn't dye my hair though, cause daddy don't allow =X

Had Curry chickens last Friday, 29/07/2007! Thanks William (Manager of PE Department) and family for preparing for us such a nice meal. After meal, me and group drank yellow wine, red wine and whisky. Man, my alcohol limit is'nt that good, a few cups and I'm giddy already (not drunk). My whole body became red in color because my blood is circulating very fast due to the alcohol (I'm the reddest there xD). We played games and drank. That day marks the first time I drank a small cup of 40% alcohol Johnny Walker whisky at one shot. Man, it was burning hot.

Went to Shanghai during the weekends (2D/1N Trip). We took a fast train to ShangHai and reached at around 1000 and started looking for accomodation. We took the underground train (like MRT in Singapore) to People's Square. Thanks Luo Xue for coming with us and helping us find accomodation. If it wasn't for her, we may not be able to get rooms to stay in as many cheaper-range hotels or motels requires only China IC to register.

Went to meet up with my friend (Kelvin)'s friend from NYP IT course doing OIPP in ShangHai now, Benjamin, after settling down in the room. He will be our tour guide for this trip, haha, thank him for being our tour guide the whole day. It was nice meeting him. Went out of the hotel and this shopping centre caught my eye. haha, as you can see from the picture, the BIG Levi's Copper poster, haha xD and to my surprise, this shopping centre is called Raffles Shopping Centre.

While waiting for Benjamin to arrive at Raffles Shopping Centre, our friend, Luo Xue got called up to a Maybelline roadshow. She is the last person being called up to choose 1 out of 9 boxes and stand to win their grand prize of the day, the latest foundation make-up product by Maybelline. The co-ordinator of the roadshow hinted me and Yeow Chuan the answer to the grand prize while I'm taking pictures of her on stage. Guess what! haha, Luo Xue won the prize. lol, congratulations to her.

Had lunch at a Japanese Restaurant and began shopping then after. Took a taxi to the famous Oriental Pearl Tower at around 1530. The tower is really nice. I'm glad to have saw it now as I missed it during my last trip at ShangHai. We bought the 85RMB (17SGD) ticket and went up to the 2nd sphere. The view was breath-taking, as you can see the developed city of ShangHai from almost bird's eye view. We stayed at till evening when the sun sets just to see the beautiful lights of ShangHai city at night. We went to the Bund (opposite of Oriental Pearl Tower) to get a wholesome view of it from afar.
P.S. S.H.E is at one of the shopping centre there doing autograph signing =O but didn't get to go and see them =(

Went back to hotel after dinner to prepare to go out and experience night life at ShangHai! But only me, Daryl, Dexter, Kelvin, Yeow Chuan and Luo Xue went because we plan to go clubbing! hahahaahahahah. We went to Xin Tian Di, and the place looks just so like Clark Quay. There is a number of bars, pubs and clubs. There were quite alot of people there too, got Singaporeans, Americans etc. We went to a club called G+. Entrance for it is 150RMB (30SGD) and 40RMB (8SGD) for a drink. The club here is around the same as of Singapore's, nice music, nice people, nice drinks etc. Daryl introduced Vodka Red Bull and Vodka Lime and I tried both, it was nice. haha. Had alot of fun there but as usual, my alcohol tolerance limit isn't good therefore on the way home after clubbing, I wasn't walking straight and nearly falling down occasionally =X. Thanks Luo Xue for helping me on the way back. haha. I wanna go clubbing again soon!! =D

Went to shop for cheap and nice clothes on Sunday, 01/07/2007. I didnt buy anything because nothing attacts me yet but we will be going back to ShangHai for one day this weekend to hunt for more nice clothes. hahah. We missed the 1545 train back to Wuxi as the taxi driver drove my friends of three to the wrong side of the train station. haha, We were supposed to take the fast and spacious train back (same one we took from Wuxi to ShangHai) but because we missed it, so we have to change the time of the train. In the end, we bought the common train ticket as we couldn't get tickets for the fast train. The trip back was squeezy, hot and no seats (stood for an hour plus) =( but at least, we have experience how is it like in the common train. hehe..
