TWK -> Vanessa - hehe van, i'm thinking of the 3-layer meat everyday leh, missing it but sometimes got eat la, though don seem enough everytime, wahahaha xD

TWK -> Marcus - haha, bro, the fats shiok man, eat into mouth and it kinda melted, lol. I've been craving for the 'san cheng rou'/ 3-layer pork everyday man. =p haha, I kinda miss the 'Zhu Zha Tang' (Pork Intestine Soup) stall and miss eating with you all.

During the weekends, we went to Xi Hui Garden on Saturday, Ling Shan Da Fo and Li Hu on Sunday.

We went to the zoo within Xi Hui Garden (main purpose there) and we saw Panda! But haiz, it's summer now and the panda is placed in a air-conditioned room. We could not get a good view of it though =( .

We went around Xi Hui Garden after visiting the Zoo and found a place to see reptiles. The place is a like a huge underground tunnel (lucky it's air conditioned). Within the place, we went to see the reptiles and a ghost house where you walk through places and there will be ghosts (mechanical) scaring you on the way. Man, it's scary as I got squeeze to the front of the group, lol, and always the first one to be scared by the ghosts *scream*. haha, the reptile place is disappointing as there are only a few small snakes, a fake python and crocodile to see -.- .

We visited Ling Shan Da Fo (supposedly the second tallest Buddha statue in China, though the place states it is the tallest in China). The scenery there is nice. We went to Li Hu (a lake) after that, initially having the idea of flying kites there, but the weather is hot Hot HOT so we dropped the idea.

Hmm..finally! finishing the company website already. BUT, there are tasks coming up after this, which is doing 2 intro videos for the company, one for each factory (both Wuxi and Suzhou factory). It's gonna be a seemingly new thing to me as I hardly work with creating video, but I'm sure gonna try and complete it ;)

During the weekends, we went to Zhou Zhuang on Saturday, a place near Suzhou for plenty of sight-seeings. Saw many ancient stuffs like farming tools, fishing tools and the old house considerably- rich people live in. Had their famous Wan San Pig's Trotter *drool*.

Went to Wuxi City to shop on the Sunday! Glad that I found S&K here and bought a knee-length shorts (sorry no picture), as I didn't bring my S&K shorts to China. Bought it for 125RMB, so it's around 25SGD. Price kinda ok eh? Had spicy steamboat for dinner, it was good =]. Well, no taggies to reply, so time for pics!!!

Now..back with the postings. Last Wednesday, 06/07/2007, had a fire drill at the factory. We all went to gather at the main entrance of the factory and watch the security guards perform putting out a fire in the shortest possible time (was kinda funny though). haha, and I also got my first salary (allowance) on Thursday, 07/07/2007.

Went for a 2D/1N trip to Zhe Jiang (4-hour Bus ride) during the weekends. First stop is "Shuang Xi Piao Liu". It's a ride whereby around 10 people go on board a raft made up of bamboos, sitting on bamboo benches (no handles nor side railings, very traditional) and will be rowed by a person going through a river. During the journey, we started splashing water at each other on board and even started splashing water at other people on other rafts too. It was somewhat like a water-wars as people are splashing water from rafts to rafts using 'weapons' ranging from bare hands to water guns. In the end, everyone of us on board were totally drenched. I have to change into my short pants after that.
*Sorry I got no pictures for this because all of us kept our electronic devices in plastic bags to prevent water-contact.

Next up, we visited a valley. There are lots of sight-seeing and walking. Shall let the pictures do the talking =D. Headed to the hotel at Ling An City at around 1930. Didn't do much in the night, had our dinner, some water-melons, played few games of Dai Dee, watched TV then sleep already. Man, I saw the Mediacorp series 'The Love Concierge " there and it's being dubbed into China voices. It kinda sucked..hm..don't know why they don't want to use the original voices, it sounds much better.

Gathered and ate breakfast next day, 10/06/2007. This time, we are going to mountain top, not a valley. On the way up the mountain, there is an attraction whereby you will be inside a inflated ball floating on water and you can anyhow jump and run provided if you kept your balance. I played and I accidently kicked my own noes with my knee cap because the rebounce is kind of big. I'm so tired and sweaty after that. Being in the tour group, our own group of 10 are always the last behind, haha, so we got seperated kinda easily.

And so, we went on our own after we lost track of the other tour members but we are to gather back at 1130 at entrance then after. We went to scale a mountain again (everyday is exercise man, haha), this time, there is a sign asking if we got enough water, food and stuffs as it will be a very long way up. We proceeded..It takes alot of stamina and determination to get to the peak as we are walking up stairs all the way. It took us around 45 minutes to get to almost peak only. Well, our hard work paid off as the view on top is astonishing, and when you shout, you can even hear your own echoes!! Everything is just so natural!

Headed back to Wuxi (5-hour bus ride) and went to KTV again! but haiz..didn't sing well =( but well, still had fun.

Back Again! ah..went to the toilet 3 times today, from around 0300 onwards till before work, haiz..worried that I ate the wrong stuff again. Felt ok for now though. Hm..now to post about my week 4 experience in China here. For the weekends, we went to 'Zhong Hua Kong Long Yuan'(Dinosaur Theme Park), Karaoke, 'Tai Hu' Lake, Pearl factory, 'Zi Sha' Teapot factory 'San Guo Cheng'(Three Kingdoms City) and 'Shui Hu Cheng' (Water Margin City). For both days, we went with a tour because it's more convenient for us. 'San Guo Cheng' and 'Shui Hu Cheng' are formerly places used for shooting various ancient chinese films such as Three Kingdoms and such. Took a ride at Dinosaur Theme Park which works like a pendulum, friggin' thrilling. Went for KTV on Saturday, from around 1700 to 2100. Sang lotsa songs and enjoyed it. Looking forward to go again! =D I believe some of you must have heard the news saying about Tai Hu being polluted heavily. Luckily, I'm able to visit Tai Hu as the pollution have lessen abit.
