Checked in with the other guys at around 2350, May 8 2007. AH~ that moment was…….hmm……..tried to hold back my tears but it overpowered me. Exchanged hugs and kisses with myt family members then headed in the Departure hall.
Boarded the plane at around 0030, ya, by the way, we tooked China Eastern Airlines. The plane was stuffy and warm, abit cramp too I would say. I also heard the flight attendant announcing that they were apologetic for the currently malfunctioning air-con (will be ok once the plane takes flight). LOL. Had western breakfast on board.

Arrived at the Shanghai Pudong Airport at 0630, 9 May 2007, located the driver and headed for GulTech (my attached company). Hmm.. the driver seat here is on the left side, hope I can get to try it xD
Reached the dormitory after 3 hours plus of "reckless" car rides, red-light beating, illegal turning and stuffs, haha..but it was a good experience. I miss driving.. Started unpacking, did up our beds once we got our room (8 people staying in 1 room) and rested for the rest of the day.

Reported for my first day of work on Thursday, 10 May 2007. Had some programmes arranged for us, mainly getting-to-know the factory and company operations etc. Worktime for the company will be from Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1700. Got assigned to our specific department the next day, 11 May 2007. Daryl and I were assigned to MIS department (we will be helping to improve the company's website) and we got our own desk in the office xD and the others were assigned to PE department, dealing with Printed Circuit Boards, more hands-on.
